Here you will find the right answer to FAQs about the application process at [bu:st].

Please apply online by using our application form. This shortens the processing time (and thus your waiting time).

Your application include a cover letter, your CV/resume plus other information regarding your career history.

The processing time depends on the job position and the number of applications received. We will inform you as soon as possible. Usually you will get an answer within 2-3 weeks.

Your personal data will be used exclusively for recruitment purposes. We comply with the Federal Data Protection Act.

Yes, if you release us in advance. Please appeal us when making an appointment for an interview to agree on reimbursement of your costs. For the reimbursement the original receipts as well as a covering letter with the following information have to be submitted: First and Last Name Interview date List of the costs Bank information

Yes, of course. A thesis is usually possible after an internship or a student job, as long as our supervision capacities allow it. You can also apply proactively (just send an e-mail to careers@bu-st.de) and inform us about your desired topic.

In your CV you include your education and your career. Any gaps in your resume should be explained (e.g. studies abroad, application phases, parental leave ...). Certainly we are also interested in your language and computer skills as well as your hobbies and any other relevant information about yourself.

Yes, all job offers on our website are still open. Once a position is filled, it will no longer be displayed.

Yes, of course. You can send your application for your desired job per e-mail to careers@bu-st.de

Yes, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt as soon as we receive your application. If you do not receive one, please contact us immediately at careers@bu-st.de

The preselection will be based on the application documents. We usually plan two interviews. In the second interview we perform a role-play (assessment). Further information about the application process can be found here.

Yes, of course. Please inform us if we are only allowed to call you at certain times of the day.

Yes, you can withdraw your application at any time. Please send us an e-mail to careers@bu-st.de

One of the most important documents of your application is the cover letter. Here you tell us why you want to work for us and why we should hire you. You don’t need to rephrase your resume, but get us interested in you.Why should we get to know you personally? Make us curious!

Please include the most important certificates and references (at least the most recent job reference). If we need further references or information, we will contact you.
